ABOUT MASSEY
Massey, LC, formerly Evan Energy Investments, LC, was formally organized in 2004 in Richmond, Virginia, and is the successor to the private, energy-related ventures developed by Evan Morgan Massey around the world.

E. Morgan Massey began his career in the coal industry in 1949, when he joined A. T. Massey Coal Company, which had been founded by his grandfather in 1916. Mr. Massey ultimately became President of A. T. Massey Coal in 1972 and grew the company into the 4th largest coal company in the United States.
​
Over the last 25 years, Massey's business ventures have included the development of modern mines in South America and China, global shipping and trans-shipping operations, power utilities, coal-bed methane, oil and gas, coal and coke trading, mineral processing, and new technologies.

In a world with an ever-increasing demand for resources, energy and new technologies, Massey uses the proven philosophies and values of E. Morgan Massey to build wealth for all stakeholders, including customers, shareholders, employees, and their communities.
